NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CHILD IS EXPERIENCING, THERE IS HOPE

Welcome to Cascadia Child Therapy

Located in Seattle, Cascadia Child Therapy provides evidence-based therapy for children ages 5–12 who may be experiencing anxiety, navigating life transitions or expressing big emotions in their daily lives. Children have natural strengths and an innate capacity for healing. When given a safe, supportive space, they often show us what they need in order to grow, feel understood, and move forward with confidence.

Anxiety and Big Life Changes

Even the most talkative child may not always have the words to share what they are feeling or experiencing. When emotions are difficult to express, children can feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or misunderstood. Anxiety and stress may appear in many different ways, especially during times of change. Supporting a child’s emotional well-being is an important part of their overall health and development.

Understanding Children’s Behavior

Children often communicate through their behavior, particularly when emotions or experiences are hard to put into words. Behaviors that seem challenging are often a child’s way of expressing a need or coping with overwhelming feelings. Therapy focuses on understanding the meaning behind these experiences and supporting children in feeling safe, connected, and understood. Parents and caregivers are an important part of this process, helping strengthen relationships and support their child’s emotional growth.
